Product Information
Description
Bracken Herringbone gives the Tetrad Caledonian Midi Sofa a relaxed, woven richness, with warm neutral tones that work particularly well in country homes, period rooms and classic sitting spaces. The deep buttoned seat and back bring tailored definition, while the scrolled arms and stud detailing add the familiar character of a Chesterfield-style sofa.
The midi size offers generous seating without the scale of the grand model, making it a practical choice for rooms that need presence, comfort and balance. Finished with dark turned feet and complementary scatter cushions, it has the polished look of traditional British upholstery with a softer, more fabric-led feel.

FAQ's
How is the Caledonian Midi different from the Grand Sofa?
The Midi keeps the same buttoned Chesterfield-style design and Bracken Herringbone fabric, but in a more manageable size for medium living rooms and sitting spaces.
What does Bracken Herringbone add to the sofa?
Bracken Herringbone gives the sofa a warm, woven texture with subtle pattern and depth, making it feel softer and more relaxed than a plain fabric or full leather finish.
Is this sofa suitable as the main seating piece?
Yes, the Midi has enough presence to anchor a room, especially where the Grand Sofa may feel too large but a smaller sofa would not provide enough impact.
Does the buttoned design make it look formal?
The deep buttoning gives it a tailored, traditional look, but the Harris Tweed upholstery softens the overall feel, so it does not appear overly formal.
What interiors work well with this sofa?
It suits country homes, period properties, classic living rooms and warmer neutral schemes. It also pairs well with timber furniture, patterned cushions and antique brass accents.
Are the scrolled arms a practical feature or mainly decorative?
They are both. The scrolled arms give the sofa its traditional shape, while also creating a comfortable, enclosed feel for everyday sitting.
What colours pair well with Bracken Herringbone?
Soft cream, olive, rust, tan, muted gold, warm brown and natural wood tones all work well with the fabric’s earthy character.
Is this a good alternative to a leather Chesterfield?
Yes, it offers a similar heritage influence through the buttoning and scrolled arms, but the Harris Tweed finish creates a warmer, more textured look.
