What White Glove Delivery Includes
White Glove Delivery is our more complete furniture delivery service for customers who would like extra help from the moment their order arrives.
With this service, our delivery team will:
- Bring your furniture into your chosen room
- Assemble eligible items in place
- Remove and recycle the packaging responsibly
It is a convenient option for larger furniture pieces and for anyone who wants a more straightforward, ready-to-enjoy delivery experience.
White Glove Delivery vs Standard Delivery
We offer two main delivery options for furniture orders: roadside pallet delivery and White Glove Delivery.
Roadside pallet delivery is a dependable option for straightforward access, while White Glove Delivery offers a more premium service with furniture brought inside, assembled where required, and unpacked for you.
For many customers, White Glove Delivery is the easiest way to receive furniture with less lifting, less waste to deal with, and less disruption at home.
Delivery Areas and Availability
We aim to schedule White Glove deliveries within 10 working days, although timings can vary depending on courier routes, order volume and location. If there is likely to be any delay, we will keep you informed.
White Glove Delivery is not available in all postcode areas. Excluded postcode areas currently include AB, DD, FK, IV, KW, KY, PA, PH and PO30 to PO41.
If you are unsure whether your area is covered, please contact us before ordering and we will confirm the most suitable delivery option.
Preparing for Your Delivery
On the day of delivery, you will receive a 3 to 4 hour time slot, and our couriers will usually call around 30 minutes before arrival.
Please make sure there is clear access to your property and enough space in the room for safe delivery and assembly. This helps the team complete the installation efficiently and ensures your furniture can be positioned correctly.
Please note that our delivery team is not insured to remove or reposition existing furniture. They are only able to deliver and assemble new items purchased from Shackletons Home & Garden.
Sustainable Packaging Removal
As part of our White Glove service, packaging is removed responsibly wherever possible, helping reduce waste and making the process easier for you.
