Product Information
Description
The Tetrad Caledonian Footstool in Bracken Herringbone brings classic British upholstery detail into a versatile accent piece. Its oval form feels softer than a standard rectangular footstool, while the deep buttoned top gives it the distinctive Chesterfield-inspired character associated with the Caledonian collection.
Upholstered in warm Bracken Herringbone Harris Tweed, it adds woven texture, earthy colour and a sense of heritage to a room without feeling heavy. The turned wooden feet complete the look, giving the piece a traditional, well-finished presence.
Generous enough to sit at the centre of a seating arrangement, it can be used as a footrest, informal extra seat or styled with a tray as a softer alternative to a coffee table.
te the perfect companion piece for your home.

FAQ's
How does the Caledonian Footstool change the feel of a seating area?
Its oval shape softens the layout of a room, while the deep buttoned top gives the centre of the seating area a more tailored, traditional look than a plain footstool.
Is Bracken Herringbone a warm or cool fabric tone?
Bracken Herringbone has a warm, earthy character, making it well suited to leather, darker woods, patterned rugs and traditional room schemes.
What makes this footstool different from a simple upholstered stool?
The button-tufted top, curved oval form and turned wooden feet give it a more decorative furniture presence, so it works as part of the room rather than just an add-on.
Can the Caledonian Footstool be used as a coffee table alternative?
Yes, its generous top can be styled with a tray for books, drinks or accessories, giving a softer and more traditional alternative to a hard coffee table.
Does this footstool need to match a Caledonian sofa?
It is designed to coordinate beautifully with the Caledonian collection, but the Bracken Herringbone fabric and classic shape also pair well with other heritage-style sofas and chairs.
Is the buttoned top practical for everyday use?
Yes, the deep buttoning adds shape and detail while still giving a comfortable cushioned surface for resting feet or using with a tray.
Where would this footstool work best in a room?
It works particularly well in front of a sofa, between two armchairs or as the central piece in a traditional sitting room where a rectangular coffee table might feel too hard-lined.
