Product Information
Description
Darker wood tones give this Balmoral dining table a confident, heritage-led presence, making it well suited to dining rooms that lean classic, tailored or more refined. The clean rectangular shape keeps the design easy to live with, while the extending format adds useful flexibility when extra seating is needed.
The Chestnut finish works especially well with upholstered dining chairs, patterned rugs, brass accents and darker cabinet furniture. It also helps anchor lighter walls or neutral schemes, giving the dining area a stronger focal point without feeling overly ornate.

FAQ's
What kind of dining room suits the Chestnut finish?
Chestnut is best suited to dining spaces where you want a more grounded, traditional look. It pairs well with deeper flooring, classic wall colours, upholstered chairs and brass or antique-style accents.
Is this table suitable for both everyday dining and hosting?
Yes, the extending design makes it practical for daily use while giving extra surface space when guests are joining. It is a good option for homes that need one table to handle both family meals and more formal dining.
What chairs would work well with this dining table?
Upholstered chairs soften the darker finish, while wooden chairs from the Balmoral collection create a more coordinated look. Cream, taupe, charcoal or patterned seat fabrics would all sit comfortably with the Chestnut tone.
Does the darker finish make the table feel too heavy?
Not necessarily. The straight-lined shape keeps it balanced, so the finish adds depth rather than bulk. In a lighter room, it can create a strong focal point and make the dining area feel more intentional.
How does this differ from the Honey finish?
Chestnut feels more formal and traditional, while Honey has a lighter and more relaxed character. Choose Chestnut if the room needs contrast, depth or a more established dining-room feel.
Is this a good match with other Balmoral furniture?
Yes, it works particularly well with Balmoral display cabinets, sideboards and console pieces in the same finish. Matching furniture can help create a more complete dining-room scheme without mixing too many wood tones.
