Product Information
Description
The Pedra Oval Dining Table has a quiet architectural quality, combining a broad oval top with two substantial pedestal supports for a look that feels grounded without appearing overly heavy. The linen finish softens the concrete-effect material, giving the table a lighter, more considered appearance than darker industrial styles.
Its oval shape works particularly well in sociable dining spaces, creating an easier flow around the table and a less formal feel than a square-edged design. The twin pedestal base keeps the sides clear for dining chairs, while the glass reinforced concrete construction gives the piece a reassuring sense of substance. It is a strong choice for homes where the dining table needs to feel special, practical and visually calm rather than ornate.

FAQ's
What makes the Pedra Oval Dining Table different from a rectangular dining table?
The oval shape gives the table a softer outline and helps movement around the dining area feel easier. It is a good option for buyers who want generous dining space without the sharper, more formal look of a rectangular table.
Does the linen finish feel warm or cool?
The linen tone gives the concrete-effect surface a softer, lighter look. It feels more relaxed than darker grey concrete finishes and pairs well with oak, beige, cream, black accents and textured upholstery.
Is this table better for modern or traditional interiors?
It is best suited to modern, minimalist, coastal, softly industrial and transitional interiors. The simple oval form keeps it contemporary, while the pale finish prevents it from feeling too stark.
How does the pedestal base affect seating?
The twin pedestal base keeps the long sides clearer than a four-leg table, which can make chair placement feel more flexible. It also gives the table a balanced, substantial look from every angle.
Can this table work in an open-plan kitchen dining space?
Yes. Its pale finish and rounded form make it well suited to open-plan rooms, especially where a heavy rectangular table might feel too imposing.
Is the concrete-effect finish practical for everyday dining?
Yes, it is intended as a durable dining surface, but it should still be treated with care. Use placemats and coasters to help protect the finish from heat, marks and spills during everyday use.
Can the Pedra table be used outside?
It can suit covered outdoor terrace settings as well as indoor dining rooms. A sheltered position is best, particularly in the UK, to help protect the finish from prolonged wet weather and seasonal exposure.
