Product Information
Description
A sharper palette sets this Neyland armchair apart from the softer natural linen finish. The stone upholstery has a calm, neutral tone, while the black frame adds definition and a more graphic outline, making the chair feel clean, structured and contemporary.
The exposed frame keeps the silhouette light, so it works well where a fully upholstered armchair may feel too heavy. Its upright cushioned back and supportive seat make it useful for reading, conversation or occasional seating, while the slim arms and angled legs give the design a refined retro character. Style it with monochrome accessories, pale oak, smoked glass, textured rugs or warm-toned cushions to soften the contrast.

FAQ's
How does the stone finish differ from the natural linen Neyland Armchair?
The stone finish feels cooler and more contemporary, especially with the black oak frame. Natural linen is softer and warmer, while stone gives the chair a cleaner, more defined look.
Is this chair suitable for a modern living room?
Yes. The contrast between the pale stone upholstery and black frame gives it a crisp, modern edge, while the mid-century shape keeps it warm enough for everyday living spaces.
Would the black frame make the chair feel too stark?
The black frame adds structure, but the pale fabric softens the overall look. It works particularly well when balanced with textured rugs, wood furniture, cushions or warmer wall colours.
Is the Neyland Stone Armchair comfortable for reading?
Yes. The cushioned seat and upright back make it suitable for reading, conversation or a quiet corner. It has a more structured sit than a deep lounge chair, which can be helpful if you prefer support over sink-in softness.
What colours pair well with stone upholstery?
Stone works well with charcoal, black, warm white, taupe, olive, rust, tan, walnut and pale oak. It is neutral enough for calm schemes but can also take stronger accent colours well.
Where would this armchair work best?
It suits living rooms, bedrooms, studies, hallways with enough space, and open-plan corners that need a defined single seat. Its open frame keeps it visually lighter than a blockier armchair.
Can it be styled with the matching Neyland sofa?
Yes. It can sit alongside a Neyland sofa for a coordinated seating arrangement. The shared frame shape creates a consistent look, while the armchair still works well as a standalone piece.
How should the fabric and black frame be cared for?
Vacuum the fabric gently with a soft brush attachment and blot spills promptly. Wipe the wooden frame with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth, avoiding abrasive cleaners that could mark the finish.
