Product Information
Description
A lighter alternative to the walnut Madrid display unit, this oak finish gives the piece a calm, warm and more relaxed presence. The open frame keeps the design visually airy, while the lower two-door cupboard adds a practical place to keep less decorative items out of sight.
The softened corners and clean vertical lines suit modern dining rooms, living spaces and larger hallways where storage needs to feel considered rather than heavy. With four open display levels and a compact footprint, it works especially well where height is available but floor space is limited.

FAQ's
What can I use the Madrid Open Display for?
It works well for books, ceramics, glassware, framed photographs and decorative pieces. The lower cupboard is useful for items you want stored neatly out of view.
Does the oak finish make this display unit feel lighter than the walnut option?
Yes. The oak finish gives it a brighter, softer look, making it easier to place in neutral, Scandinavian-inspired or lighter contemporary interiors.
Is this more of a bookcase or display cabinet?
It can serve as both, but it has a more refined display-led look than a standard bookcase. The open shelves suit styled items, while the cupboard adds practical storage.
Would this work in a dining room?
Yes. It can hold serving pieces, glassware, table linen or decorative objects, making it a useful addition to a dining room without feeling like a heavy dresser.
Is the design suitable for smaller spaces?
Its slim depth helps it sit neatly against a wall, while the height provides useful vertical storage. It is best suited to spaces with enough wall height rather than wide floor space.
Does the unit need to be styled carefully?
A balanced mix of books, ceramics and a few larger pieces will suit it best. Leaving some open space on the shelves helps the frame and oak finish remain visible.
Is assembly required?
Yes, assembly is required. Its 39kg weight means it is worth building and positioning it carefully, ideally with help.
