Product Information
Description
A round table brings a different rhythm to dining, with no head of the table and an easier sense of connection between each seat. In this smoked Hatfield design, that sociable shape is paired with a richer oak finish, giving the piece more depth than the natural option.
The oak veneer and rubberwood construction creates a smooth, consistent surface, while the darker finish pairs well with neutral upholstered chairs, black accents, muted greens, stone tones and textured flooring. Its four-seat format suits everyday meals, informal hosting and smaller homes where a rectangular table may feel too rigid or space-hungry.

FAQ's
Why choose a round dining table over a rectangular one?
A round table creates a more conversational layout, with everyone seated around the same central point. It can also feel softer in compact rooms where a rectangular table may create sharper lines.
Is the smoked finish suitable for smaller dining spaces?
Yes, provided the room has some lighter balance from walls, flooring or chairs. The smoked finish adds depth, while the circular shape helps the table feel less boxy.
How does this compare with the natural Hatfield round table?
The smoked finish feels warmer, darker and more defined. The natural finish is lighter and more relaxed, so smoked is better if you want the dining area to feel more anchored.
What chairs work best with this table?
Curved-back chairs, slim upholstered styles and simple wooden frames all suit the round shape. Lighter fabric can soften the darker finish, while smoked chairs create a coordinated look.
Is this table good for everyday meals?
Yes, it is a practical four-seat dining table for daily use. The round surface works well for shared dishes, casual meals and smaller household dining.
What interior styles does it suit?
It works well in warm contemporary, modern rustic, Scandinavian-inspired and softer industrial interiors. The smoked oak tone pairs especially well with textured fabrics and darker accents.
Will the round shape help an open-plan room feel less formal?
Yes, a circular table can make a dining area feel more relaxed and less structured. It is a good option where the dining zone sits close to a kitchen or living space.
How should the surface be protected day to day?
Use placemats and coasters for hot dishes, drinks and regular meals. This helps protect the oak veneer finish from heat, moisture and everyday marks.
