Product Information
Description
Designed as a practical storage piece rather than a purely decorative cabinet, the Eton larder cupboard helps keep kitchen essentials organised without the fitted look of built-in cabinetry. The upper cupboard offers enclosed storage for food, crockery or larger household items, while the two drawers are well placed for smaller pieces that need to stay easy to reach.
The grooved door and drawer fronts give the cupboard its distinctive Eton character, adding texture and a handcrafted feel to the natural finish. Metal handles provide a neat contrast against the warm timber tones, keeping the overall look rustic but refined.
A lower planked shelf gives the design a more open, relaxed quality and can be used for cookbooks, baskets, folded linens or display pieces. Made from oak and pine, this cupboard has a substantial presence that suits country kitchens, pantry spaces and open-plan dining areas where storage needs to look considered as well as useful.

FAQ's
What can the Eton larder cupboard be used for?
It works well for kitchen storage, pantry items, crockery, serving pieces, linens and everyday household essentials. The mix of cupboard, drawer and shelf storage makes it more flexible than a simple cabinet.
Does this cupboard suit a modern kitchen?
Yes, especially if the kitchen has natural materials, painted cabinetry or a softer rustic influence. The natural wood finish gives warmth, while the clean shape keeps it from feeling overly traditional.
How does the lower planked shelf add practicality?
The lower shelf is useful for items you want close to hand or on display, such as baskets, cookbooks, folded cloths or larger serving bowls. It also stops the cupboard feeling too heavy visually.
What makes the grooved doors important to the design?
The grooved panelling gives the cupboard texture and depth, helping it feel more like a crafted furniture piece than plain storage. It also ties in neatly with other Eton pieces that use plank-style detailing.
Is this a good alternative to fitted kitchen storage?
Yes, it is ideal if you need extra storage without committing to fitted cabinetry. It can be moved, restyled and used in different rooms over time, which makes it more adaptable than a built-in unit.
Will the natural finish vary between pieces?
Subtle variation in tone and grain is part of the look of natural wood furniture. It helps the cupboard feel warmer and more individual rather than completely flat or uniform.
Does the cupboard need assembly?
Yes, assembly is required. Once in place, its weight and tall format give it a substantial feel, so it is best positioned carefully in the room before final styling.
