Product Information
Description
Slim proportions and open wooden arms give the Chedworth a lighter feel than a fully upholstered armchair. The charcoal fabric brings a practical neutral tone, making it easy to place with pale woods, warm oak furniture, patterned cushions or simple contemporary schemes.
The curved arms are the defining detail, softening the chair’s outline and giving the design more character than a plain fabric seat. Its cushioned back and seat offer comfortable support for reading, conversation or extra lounge seating, while the neat scale makes it useful in living rooms, bedrooms, studies and quiet corners.

FAQ's
What makes the Chedworth Armchair feel different from a standard fabric chair?
Its curved wooden arms give it a more distinctive silhouette than a simple upholstered chair. They add shape, warmth and a lighter side profile.
Is charcoal a practical colour for an occasional chair?
Yes, charcoal is a useful neutral because it is less stark than black and more forgiving than pale fabric. It works well in both light and darker room schemes.
Does the wooden frame make the chair feel traditional?
Not strongly. The wood brings warmth, but the clean fabric seat and simple profile keep the overall look fresh and easy to place in modern homes.
Where would this armchair work best?
It suits a living room, bedroom, study or reading corner where you want an extra seat that does not feel oversized. Its neat proportions make it easy to use as a standalone accent chair.
How supportive is the seat shape?
The chair has a cushioned seat and back with a fairly upright profile, making it well suited to reading, conversation and everyday occasional seating.
What colours pair well with the charcoal upholstery?
Charcoal works well with cream, tan, rust, olive, soft grey, natural wood and warm metallic finishes. It is a good base for adding patterned cushions or textured throws.
Is this a good choice for smaller spaces?
Yes, the open arms and modest width help it feel lighter than a bulky lounge chair. It gives useful seating without taking over the room visually.
How does the Chedworth compare with more modern metal-frame chairs?
Chedworth feels warmer and softer because of its wooden arms and fabric upholstery. It has less of an industrial edge and suits rooms where natural materials are part of the scheme.
