Product Information

Gallery Direct Bardfield Accent Chair Upholstered in a Vanilla coloured boucle style fabric with dark oak wood underframe and legs

Description

Cream upholstery gives this chair a softer, lighter presence than darker accent chairs, making it a useful piece for rooms that need warmth, texture and a little extra seating. The gently curved back creates a smooth, comfortable outline, while the generously proportioned seat gives it a more inviting feel than a purely decorative occasional chair.

The oak underframe and tapered legs add natural contrast beneath the fabric, helping the chair feel grounded while keeping the overall look neat and refined. It works well as a reading chair, bedroom chair, home office accent or occasional seat in a living space. Only the feet require fitting, so assembly is straightforward once delivered.

FAQ's

What makes the Bardfield Chair in Vanilla different from the blue option?

The vanilla fabric gives the chair a lighter, softer feel, making it better suited to calm neutral schemes or rooms where you want the chair to brighten the space.

Is the vanilla fabric more cream than white?

Yes. The fabric is described as sumptuous cream, so it has a warmer tone than a bright white chair.

Where would this occasional chair work best?

It works well in a living room, bedroom or study where you want a single comfortable chair with a softer, more neutral look.

Does the oak frame make the chair feel warmer?

Yes. The oak underframe and tapered legs add natural warmth and contrast beneath the cream upholstery.

Is this chair suitable for everyday sitting?

Yes. The generous seat and gently curved back make it suitable for regular use as an occasional chair, reading chair or bedroom chair.

Does the chair need full assembly?

No. Assembly is required, but only the feet need to be fitted.

Will the light fabric work in traditional and contemporary interiors?

Yes. The cream upholstery, curved back and oak frame allow it to sit comfortably in both contemporary and more classic schemes.

Is this better as an accent chair or main armchair?

It is best as an accent or occasional chair, especially where you want extra seating without adding a bulky armchair.
