Product Information
Description
Classic wingback styling gives this chair its presence straight away, but the two-tone finish is what makes it more interesting than a standard heritage armchair. Brown upholstery on the wings and outer arms adds warmth and depth, while the grey inner sections soften the overall look and give it a more considered, updated feel. Deep buttoning through the back reinforces that traditional character and gives the chair a more structured finish.
The shape is a big part of its appeal. The high back and shaped wings create a more enclosed, settled seat than a lower occasional chair, making it well suited to slower rooms and quieter corners of the home. Stud detailing around the arms sharpens the outline, and the dark wooden legs ground the design without making it feel heavy.
This is the sort of chair that suits interiors where comfort matters, but where you also want something with more authority than a plain accent piece. It sits naturally in living rooms, home libraries, studies and bedrooms, particularly where traditional forms, darker woods and layered textures already have a place. With no assembly required and a 10-year guarantee, it also offers the kind of straightforward practicality that matters once the chair is in the room.

FAQ's
What makes this wing armchair different from a standard accent chair?
Its high back, shaped wings and deep buttoning give it a much stronger presence than a simpler accent chair. The two-tone upholstery also sets it apart, giving the design more contrast and character than a single-colour finish.
Does the two-tone upholstery make the chair feel more modern or more traditional?
It does both. The winged shape and buttoned back keep it rooted in traditional British styling, while the contrast between the brown outer sections and grey inner upholstery gives it a cleaner, more updated look.
Is this chair designed more for appearance or for comfort?
It is clearly decorative, but the shape is built for comfort as well. The high back, supportive wings and generous proportions make it better suited to relaxed sitting than a lighter occasional chair.
What do the wings actually add to the design?
They give the chair its signature silhouette and help create a more enclosed feel when seated. Visually, they make the piece look more substantial and more architectural than a standard armchair.
Does the deep buttoning change the feel of the chair?
Yes. It adds depth and structure to the back, which gives the chair a more tailored finish. It is also one of the details that makes the design feel more heritage-led and established.
Where does this chair work best in the home?
It suits living rooms, studies, libraries and reading corners particularly well. It also works nicely in bedrooms or hall spaces where one well-shaped chair can add more character than a standard upholstered seat.
Do the studded arms make the chair feel overly formal?
No. They add definition and a traditional note, but they do not overwhelm the overall design. They help frame the chair and give it a more finished look.
Is this a good option for someone who wants a traditional chair without going fully old-fashioned?
Yes. That is one of its strongest points. The shape and detailing are classic, but the two-tone finish keeps it from feeling too heavy or overly period in style.
