Product Information
Description
What gives the Morgan its appeal is the way variety is handled. The patchwork upholstery mixes leather and wool panels for a more tactile, collected look, but the overall design still feels composed rather than busy. Buttoned detailing helps tie the different sections together, adding structure and giving the sofa more visual depth than a flatter patchwork finish.
Its size is a practical part of the design. At 144cm wide, it is easier to place than a broader statement sofa, making it well suited to smaller living rooms, snug spaces and corners where a full three-seater would dominate. The proportions still feel substantial enough for everyday use, so it works as proper seating rather than just a decorative extra.
Made by Vintage Sofa Company, the Morgan suits buyers who want something more distinctive than plain upholstery without moving towards a heavier, more formal style. It works particularly well with simpler surrounding pieces, where the mix of colour and texture can stand out properly. Each sofa has its own patchwork layout, so the overall look stays true to the style shown while the exact mix and placement of panels remains individual.

FAQ's
What makes the Morgan different from other patchwork sofas?
The mix of leather and wool gives it a broader range of texture than an all-fabric patchwork sofa. The buttoned detailing also gives it a more upholstered, structured look, so it feels more considered than a looser patchwork design.
Will every Morgan sofa look exactly like the photo?
No. Each piece has its own patchwork pattern and mix of fabrics, so the overall style remains the same but the exact layout and panel placement will vary.
Is the Morgan a good size for a smaller living room?
Yes. At 144cm wide, it offers two-seat comfort without taking up the same floor space as a larger sofa. That makes it a useful option where space matters but you still want a sofa with personality.
How does the mix of leather and wool change the overall feel of the sofa?
It gives the Morgan more contrast and texture than a single-material sofa. The leather adds depth and richness, while the wool softens the overall look, so the patchwork feels more layered and more tactile in the room.
What does the buttoned detailing add to the sofa?
It adds depth, structure and a more tailored look. Without it, the patchwork would read more flatly across the surface, whereas the buttoning gives the design more rhythm and definition.
Is this sofa mainly decorative, or is it practical for everyday seating?
It is decorative in look, but still practical as a two-seater. The proportions make it suitable for regular use, so it is not just a statement piece to be looked at.
What kind of interior suits the Morgan best?
It works well in rooms that benefit from one piece with colour and texture. Simpler rugs, quieter walls and more restrained furniture help the patchwork stand out without making the whole room feel overworked.
What needs to be done before the sofa is ready to use?
Set-up is limited to fitting the feet, so there is less to deal with than on a sofa that needs larger sections assembled before it can be used.
