Product Information
Description
Generously padded and richly textured, the Montana Stool brings the collection’s mixed-material style into a versatile accent piece. The Atacama Nutmeg leather base adds warmth and natural grain, while the patterned fabric top introduces a softer contrast with khaki and cream tones.
Brass stud detailing frames the leather beautifully, giving the stool a more tailored finish and linking it closely with the Montana sofas and snuggler. The turned bun feet add a traditional footing, keeping the piece grounded in classic British upholstery rather than feeling like a plain ottoman.
Placed in front of a Montana sofa, it extends the relaxed lounging feel of the suite. Used separately, it can soften a reading corner, sit at the foot of a bed or work as a low upholstered centrepiece with a tray for books or drinks.

FAQ's
How does the Montana Stool complement the Montana sofas?
The stool repeats the same Atacama Nutmeg leather, patterned fabric and brass stud detailing, so it feels coordinated without looking flat or overly matched.
Can the Montana Stool be used as a coffee table alternative?
Yes, its broad padded top can work well with a tray for books, drinks or decorative pieces. The fabric surface keeps the look softer than a hard coffee table.
Does the patterned top make the stool more decorative?
Yes, the khaki and cream patterned fabric adds texture and visual interest, making the stool feel more considered than a plain leather footstool.
Is the Montana Stool only suitable with matching Montana furniture?
No, it can also work as a standalone accent beside leather seating, country-style sofas or layered interiors with warm wood and neutral textiles.
What does the Atacama Nutmeg leather add to the design?
The nutmeg leather brings warmth, grain and a gently aged character to the base. It helps the stool feel relaxed and heritage-led rather than overly polished.
Are the bun feet an important part of the look?
Yes, the rounded bun feet give the stool a traditional British furniture detail and lift the base slightly, which helps the piece feel shaped rather than blocky.
Where else could this stool be placed?
It can work in front of a sofa, beside a reading chair, in a bay window or at the foot of a bed where an upholstered bench would feel too formal.
Will the leather develop more character with use?
Yes, the leather base will soften and gain subtle tonal depth over time, adding to the relaxed, lived-in appeal of the Montana design.
