Product Information
Description
Jura Rose fabric gives the Melrose Chair a warm blush tone that feels distinctive without overpowering a room. Its broad, low-slung form brings a relaxed sense of comfort, while the deep buttoned back and arms add the familiar richness of Chesterfield styling.
Ruched upholstery across the base introduces extra texture and craftsmanship, balancing the chair’s generous proportions with a more tailored finish. Decorative studs trace the scroll arms, while turned wooden feet and front castors add a classic finishing detail.
This is a chair with real presence, suited to interiors where softness, pattern and traditional upholstery detail are part of the scheme. It works beautifully as a standalone accent piece, especially beside a fireplace, in a bay window or as part of a layered country-house style room.

FAQ's
What makes the Melrose Chair different from a standard armchair?
Its wide Chesterfield-inspired shape, deep buttoning, ruched base and scroll arms give it far more presence than a simple occasional chair.
Is Jura Rose a bold colour in the room?
Jura Rose has a soft blush character rather than a bright pink finish, so it adds warmth and interest while still feeling refined.
Does the Melrose Chair suit a traditional interior?
Yes. The buttoned upholstery, stud detailing, scroll arms and turned feet all make it well suited to classic, country and period-style rooms.
Can this chair work as a reading chair?
Yes. The generous seat, broad arms and supportive cushioning make it a comfortable choice for a reading corner or relaxed sitting area.
What does the ruched base add to the design?
The ruched base gives the chair extra texture and a more upholstered, crafted look, helping it feel richer than a plain-fronted armchair.
Does the Melrose Chair need to be paired with a matching sofa?
No. It has enough character to stand alone as an accent chair, although it can also sit alongside other Tetrad pieces in a coordinated room.
Are the front castors mainly decorative?
They add to the traditional look of the chair and also give the front feet a lighter, more classic finish.
Where would this chair work best?
It works especially well beside a fireplace, in a bedroom corner, in a snug or as a statement chair within a layered living room scheme.
