Product Information
Description
The Gallery Direct Artisan Side Table is the kind of piece that can quietly lift a room without taking it over. Its compact square shape makes it easy to place beside a sofa, armchair or bed, but the design still has enough presence to feel like more than a purely practical surface.
What makes it stand out is the contrast between its simple top and the turned bobbin legs beneath. That detailing gives the table a more traditional furniture feel, while the pale lime-wash oak keeps the overall look lighter and easier to live with. It has a softness to it that works well in spaces where darker timber might feel too heavy or too formal.
Used in a living room, it works well for a lamp, a drink or a stack of books. In a bedroom, it can bring a more decorative note than a standard bedside table, especially in interiors that lean towards lighter woods, natural textures and a more relaxed mood. The result is a side table that feels practical day to day, while still adding warmth and detail to the room.

FAQ's
Can this side table be used beside a sofa as well as in a bedroom?
Yes, it works well in both settings. In a living room it makes a useful surface for a lamp, drink or books beside a sofa or armchair, while in a bedroom it can work as a lighter, more decorative alternative to a standard bedside table.
Is this a good side table for a smaller living room?
Yes, its compact size makes it well suited to smaller rooms where you want a practical surface without adding too much visual weight. The open base also helps it feel lighter than a chunkier cabinet-style occasional table.
What makes this side table different from a plain oak lamp table?
The turned bobbin legs give it much more character than a simpler square side table. That detail makes it feel more decorative and furniture-led, while the lime-wash finish softens the overall look.
Would this side table suit a country-style or classic interior?
Yes, very well. The bobbin leg detailing and softened oak finish give it a look that sits naturally in country homes, classic interiors and rooms with a more relaxed traditional feel.
Is this a good lamp table for a living room?
Yes, it works well as a lamp table, especially in living rooms where you want a practical surface that also adds decorative detail. Its compact size makes it easy to place beside seating without taking up too much room.
Does the lime-wash finish make the table easier to place with lighter furniture?
Yes, the finish gives the oak a softer, more muted tone, which makes it easier to pair with lighter woods, neutral upholstery and more relaxed colour palettes.
Who is this side table best suited to?
It suits buyers who want a compact occasional table with more personality than a plain square design. It is a good fit for rooms that need function, but where detail and overall atmosphere matter as well.
Is this more of a decorative side table or an everyday practical one?
It does both jobs well. It has enough character to add something visually to the room, but it is also practical enough for everyday use beside seating or next to a bed.
