Recycling Policy

We are committed to sustainability and recycling

Here at Shackletons we are proud of our ongoing commitment to the environment and recycling and in partnership with the senator group we have managed to recycle 6490kg of packaging during 2022. Our commitment to recycling has resulted in an overall saving of 6444kg/CO2

Materials we recycle

We aim to recycle as much of our packaging as possible here at Shackletons and this mainly consists of Cardboard, Polystyrene and Plastic. During 2022 we were able to recycle:

• 2794kgs of Cardboard
• 2184kgs of Plastic
• 1125kgs of Polystyrene

We are committed to continuously improve these numbers to further reduce our environmental impact and increase sustainability.

White Glove Delivery: On The Day

We usually offer a delivery window of around 3-4 hours on the day of delivery and our couriers will always call you on the day when they are about half an hour away. Please ensure there is adequate access for our couriers on the day of delivery. Please also ensure any areas that our couriers will be assembling the furniture on has been fully cleared. This helps our couriers operate a more efficient service for you.

Furniture Removal

Our couriers are not permitted to move or remove any old furniture sets that you may have. They are only insured to deliver and assemble the furniture purchased through ourselves. If you would like any old furniture removed we recommend contacting your local charities. Many charities will collect your furniture for free and the act goes towards good causes.
