Product Information
Description
Light oak tones and clean linear detail make this coffee table feel calm, architectural and easy to place. The top combines solid oak and oak veneers with routed slats, giving the surface texture and rhythm rather than a plain block-like appearance.
Its narrow rectangular form works well in front of a sofa, helping to define the centre of the seating area while keeping the room visually open. The black steel legs lift the table from the floor and add a sharper modern contrast, making it a good fit for Japandi, Scandinavian, contemporary rustic and pared-back interiors.

FAQ's
What makes the Okayama Coffee Table different from a plain oak coffee table?
Its routed slatted top gives the surface more texture and definition than a flat oak table, while still keeping the overall look clean and restrained.
Is this coffee table better for modern or traditional rooms?
It suits modern interiors particularly well, but the oak finish also works with softer traditional schemes that use natural materials, neutral colours and simple furniture shapes.
Will the slatted top be practical for everyday use?
Yes, it offers a usable surface for books, trays and decorative pieces. For drinks, coasters are sensible to help protect the oak finish and keep the table looking its best.
Does the black metal base make the table look industrial?
No. The legs are slim and understated, so they add contrast without making the table feel heavy or overly industrial.
What sofa styles would pair well with this coffee table?
It works beautifully with low, relaxed sofas, boucle seating, linen upholstery, leather sofas and clean-lined modular designs. The oak softens the room, while the black legs echo darker accents.
Is this a good choice for smaller living rooms?
Its long, narrow profile can work well where you want a central table without too much visual bulk. The raised legs also help the floor remain visible, which can make a room feel more open.
Can it be styled with other Okayama pieces?
Yes. It pairs naturally with the Okayama sideboard, media unit, bedside and storage pieces, but it also has enough simplicity to sit comfortably with existing oak or black-accented furniture.
How should the oak top be cared for?
Use coasters, avoid placing hot or wet items directly on the surface, and wipe with a soft dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners, as they may affect the finish.
